![]() ![]() Is it possible to update it without wiping the whole HDD. I really dont want to factory reset it, because I have so many clips and other files that I want to keep. ![]() Says update complete and when it restarts it doesnt want to boot. Back at the beggining, checked the HDD and it just doesnt want to update. Tried with USB (FAT32, 4 GB storage abd everything named and downloaded corectly) the ps4 got it, downloaded the update, applied it and after restart - nothing. After that it restarted and checked my HDD again and I was at the beggining. First it downloaded the update, then it started applying it. ,update file 7.51 availableā I press it to update. I booted it in safe mode and tried internet (with lan cable). So the next day I go to turn it on and it says that I need to install the update file via usb, disc or internet. Follow the other steps in reverse order as well. Slide out the old HDD and put the new one in. Take off the playstation screw ( it has ) which holds the HDD enclosure. I didnt want to turn it on again because of the possibility that it could go out again. All you'll have to do is: remove the top left cover. I had a power outage the other day my ps4 was on. ![]()
